We have a tooth! Repeat, we have a tooth! It’s the one at the front on the bottom right. My Little Miss Sunshine is growing up!
At 14 months, two weeks, she definitely holds the family record. Now, how many days (or weeks, or months) will it be until tooth #2?

My son had his first tooth appear at about the same age. My mother apparently did not have any teeth until 16 months. My grandmother, who was a notorious worrier, was convinced that my mom would never ever have teeth.
My son’s other teeth came in very rapidly after that first one poked through.

MaryLynn — stories like yours make me feel much better. We weren’t exactly worried but still, it was so nice to see the first one finally come through! She’s been cranky lately so we hope we’ll get 10 more in the next week and be done with it.
