Me: Captain, do you need a diaper change?
Captain: No diaper change!
Me: Okay.
Captain: No diaper change!
Me: Okay!
Captain: No diaper change!
Me: Captain, I’m saying no.
Captain: No, I’m saying no!

And later:

Captain: What are those?
Me: Green beans. Would you like to try one?
Captain: No.
Me: You know, when you were a baby, these were your favourite. Every day you wanted to eat nothing but green beans. You liked green beans the best of all foods. So would you like to try one now?
Captain (scornfully): No, me not a baby!
