Euchred!

This is kind of dumb, but last night I lost a lot of sleep thinking about Euchre. There are two ways (that I know of) to mark the points — with two 5’s, or with a 2 and 3. But for the life of me I couldn’t remember how to mark the points with a 2 and a 3, even though I used to do it all the time.

If anyone knows how I’d be most indebted if you’d remind me…then I can sleep well tonight!

Thanks Felkor. This looks right but I could have sworn that the way I used to do it involved putting the 2 card on an angle or something. I must just not be remembering it right.

At least now I can get some decent sleep!

I’ve always been curious what is behind this scoring method. I think I can see a sensible interpretation which explains how a given configuration is mapped to a score from 1 to 9, but it just seems needlessly complicated (almost always a bad thing), while scoring with 5s seems direct and simple (almost always a good thing).
