    Apparently they are only 15 years apart which doesn’t seem too too scandalous. There’s a much bigger gap between, say, Catherine Zeta-Jones and her creepy husband.

    I think I can see why Tom would go for Katie, although seriously, she is no Nicole or Penelope in terms of beauty or star quality. I think maybe that’s the appeal though — she’s good enough to be a star, but not so amazing that she’ll ever outshine him, or choose her career over him. I don’t see her as being much of a mother figure to his kids though, so I doubt this is a long term thing.

    But why would Katie go for Tom? He’s just so icky, and pompous, and…icky. She’s cute, she’s famous, she can do better. I definitely thought that Chris Klein, her ex-fiancee, was not right for her at all, but Tom is no better. Actually I could quite see her with Leo if he ever gets over his supermodel thing.
